On Thursday, Michael (a new Kopan buddy) & I went for a walk down to Kapan Village, just down the hill from Kopan. Our walk just so happened to coincide with an important Hindu anniversary date, so lots of people were out & about celebrating & carrying offerings to shrines here & there. Absolutely loved walking around the streets – no foreigners in sight – & taking in such an extremely different culture. And an authentic smile & “namaste” is always reciprocated.

Also, found the source of the Hindu guru celebration which has been going on now non-stop for 6 days & nights…..unbelievable stamina – have no idea where this guy gets it from!
